More Free Books for a Review

We launched a new feature yesterday – free books in exchange for your review. It’s a great way to check out some great fiction and support the authors. See the article here.

Author Denton Salle has added several books to the list. See them all here.

Promise to write a review of a book for Amazon, GoodReads, or wherever (your choice), hopefully with a copy coming to The N3F Review of Books (send to phillies@4liberty.net), and these authors will send you the ebook that you request for your reviewing efforts. Email the author with the book title you wish to read and review.

Reviews matter as an aid to other readers. Thanks for your time.

Happy reading!

N3F News for December 12, 2020

The N3F has a new Treasurer. He is Kevin Trainor, PO Box 143, Tonopah NV 89049. Pay your dues online at N3F.org. Our PayPal contact is treasurer@n3f.org . Send phillies@4liberty.net your email address for a free public membership.

We changed zine mailers. We are still using phplist, but it is from a new site. There was a dramatic increase in how many members were receiving zines, because the old site had randomly blacklisted members (for example, both Tightbeam Editors) so they could not receive issues. That appears to have been fixed. Also, we no longer have the 2Mb file size limit on single mailings.

The files of back issues of our zines, found starting at http://n3f.org/zines/, have been updated to cover through zines published in December 2020.

May 2020 Zine Updates

A major effort is being made to update the web site. The N3F zines published in March and April 2020 should now all be accessible.

Also, once upon a time our zines were being stored on someone else’s site rather than here. The someone else, who is a fine person who does vast good work for all fen, finally complained, and I finally realized what was going on. In any event, all those zines have (I am reasonably sure) been downloaded from that other place, and will be put up here, as was requested a while back. Various other pages have also been updated.

February 2020 Zine Updates

I have updated the back issue files for our N3F zines. Note that for some reason the current updates show the file name, but not an image for the zine, at least on my browser. If you go to a zine’s page and click on the entry for an issue, you will forward to a page for that issue. The link to the zine pdf is the lower repeat of the file name, e.g., TNFF201912. Click on it, and you will get to the PDF.
